Oh shit I totally forgot
Horse fuckers are still invited… if you want.
You’ll know what this means.
What happens now
Well I’m not going to get rid of, or edit previous posts, that’d just be silly. But content change will occur. Different drawings, wider variety of styles, characters, shows, and ideas (that’s the plan, at least). Also (as my epic pony game attracted so much attention), I also plan on working on some game programming/demo projects, which I’ll document here (free source code of course).
I’m not die, I’m just doing different things. If all you wanted was ponies, which is totally cool, there’ll be very few now, if any, so you may want to un-follow me. I don’t want to waste your time when there are better content providers.
Also fuck tables.
I had thought the new series would have re-kindled something, but it’s all too stale now.
I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve shouted, but now I’m hoarse (Do-ho-ho).
Thanks for the fun.
I MADE A VIDEO GAME
Well, it’s sort of a game (it’s shit really). ‘What the actual fuck’, I hear you say. Let me explain:
About five hours ago, in one of the many generals, the discussion occured of video games, primarily the PonyKart game and the fact that it’s now more or less dead (huehuehue). This sparked an Anon to proclaim that this was his time to make a video game based on ponies, with a shit tonne of stupid memes, and it doesn’t matter how shit it is because bronies will love it (this is true and you know it). So what I did for the next couple of hours is make a terrible game in XNA. The source is here (you’ll need Visual Studio C# express and XNA). If you really want to learn how to make video games, I suggest you don’t follow my code at all, this one’s especially shit.
But while I was doing that, and some time before, the general actually came up with the idea that we could make a pony-based video game, not for bronies but for us, that probably wouldn’t to be shit, and we could do it collaboratively within a small timeframe (weeks, month). The small timeframe would mean that no one really get’s ‘bored’ working on the same thing, and it doesn’t endlessly drag on like a trillion projects before. Of course it wouldn’t be CAWADOODEE, it’d be 2D (ideas are to make it in Love2D) and relatively simple, but it’s a damn nice idea that sounds like fun.
The point of this is, if I could make an XNA-based piece of shit in a couple of hours, better programmers and designers could collectively create something worth while.
tldr: WORK ON THE GOD DAMN GAME
